    The Mission:

    To create a luxurious but unpretentious beach bar and restaurant for well-seasoned world travellers, full of character and intrigue and attuned to both the destination’s beautiful natural surroundings and free-spirited atmosphere.

     

    Our Response:

    We created a series of spaces for the destination - open-air restaurant, lounging enclaves, intimate cabanas and a bar to create a sense of intimacy (to other guests and the surroundings) at all times. All areas featured a rich mixture of ethnically relevant, ultra-tactile materials to stir the senses and communicate a decadent yet bohemian Mediterranean sensibility. We also introduced an open kitchen to add theatre and spontaneity, emphasising the destination’s renewed focus on authentically sourced and prepared Cretan cuisine.
